Abstract:

DETC (Dendritic Epidermal T Cells) are a subset of γδ T cells, and specifically distributed in epidermal tissue. DETC play a vital role in skin immune surveillance and promote wound healing. Murine DETC only development in embryonic 14.5 day to 18 day, possessing obvious temporal specificity. As aimed to provide systemic view on spatiotemporal specificity of DETC development, this review focused on the characteristics and mechanisms of temporal specific DETC TCR rearrangement, and the features and regulatory mechanisms of positive selection of DETC.

Key words: Dendritic epidermal T cell, TCR gene, Regulation mechanism, Positive selection
