Abstract:

The skin tissue of diabetic patients is susceptible to endogenous and exogenous damage, and the wound has the characteristics of slow healing and easy infection. This feature is particularly prominent in lower limb skin wounds, often accompanied by high amputation risk. Diabetic skin damage can seriously affect the quality of life of patients. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have been widely used in wound repair and tissue regeneration. For diabetic skin damage, clinical transplantation of MSCs has become another new treatment technology in addition to drugs and surgery. This article summarizes the research progress of the application of MSCs for diabetic skin lesions.
