Abstract:

Melanocytes are cells in the skin that have a special function to produce melanin and transmit it to the surrounding keratinocytes to determine the color of skin. Melanocytes are derived from melanoblasts, and understanding how melanoblasts migrate to targets is important for improving individual skin color, as well as for diagnosing and treating melanoma. This article reviews the process and related mechanisms of melanoblasts migration along the nerve, which may provide a theoretical basis for the improvement of individual skin color and the mechanism of recurrence after melanoma surgery.
