Recent advances of urine-derived stem cells in the regeneration of genitourinary system

Abstract

Abstract:

In recent years, with the successful extraction of urine-derived stem cells from urine, people have been exploring its application in the regeneration field of various human systems, especially in the regeneration field of genitourinary system. Current literature reports showed that urine-derived stem cells have shown certain ability of tissue reconstruction and repair in the regeneration of genitourinary system such as kidney, ureter, bladder, urethra and male reproductive organs, and its application prospect is broad. This paper reviews the research progress of the effect of urine-derived stem cells in the regeneration of genitourinary system.
